What is Mighty Magiswords?

Glad you asked. Mighty Magiswords is a 2016 Cartoon Network animated show. While I am a fan of other shows on the channel, I find this one to be one of the more underrated ones.

What was this show about?

If I can recall, the show centers around two siblings: Prohyas Warrior and Vambre Warrior, who go on adventures and collect Magiswords. They live in the Kingdom of Rhyboflaven and run a buisness called "Warriors for Hire", as it is their name and career. In this career, they are hired to go on missions and adventures and are payed in gems. The show is very silly and not really all that serious, but that's something I like about it.

But what's a Magisword?

A "Magisword'', the namesake of the franchise, is what it sounds like: a magical sword. Although they have "sword" in the name, the Warrior siblings treat them more as a sort of magic wand than an actual sword. Anyways, the Magiswords come in many different shapes, sizes, and designs, and each have their own abilities. For example, the Chainsaw Magisword looks like a chainsaw and can cut through many hard surfaces, such as wood or stone, or how the Hoversword allows its user to ride on it and hover over any terrain (except water). Some Magiswords are sentient, such as the Dolphin Magisword, which basically acts as a very intelligent dolphin and can shoot water, or the Zombie Pumpkin Magisword, who can speak and interact with the deceased. Some Magiswords are extremely plentiful, and thus less desireable, while others are more rare. Some Magiswords are very illusive and hold really powerful abilities; they are referred to as "Legendary Magiswords". These swords can be bought at a place called "Ralphio's House of Swords'', be given to another person in a trade, as a rewards, or after a victorious battle, or they can be found in the wild, such as in a treasure chest or at the end of a dungeon. The sheer amount of Magiswords to find and their varying abilities, no matter how niche, has made them THE things to find and collect, and there are no other people who are as pervasive when it comes to collecting as the Warriors themselves. In fact, they seem to have the largest collection of Magiswords of any person in Rhyboflaven, and they may not be letting go of them anytime soon. Good thing the Magiswords can shrink to fit in small areas, like a pocket or a bag, otherwise they'd have no room to put them.

This series is so underrated. I see almost no one talking about it unless someone asks "remember this show?" and people talk about how the show was funny but was really fast paced and ended it at that. In fact, I don't even know if there's an active fanbase for Mighty Magiswords, or at least one still around. Oh well, if I'm the only one who's openly very fond of the show, I guess it just makes it more special.
